Todd Smith is a senior level branding expert with more than 37+ years of experience, and is passionate about branding, public affairs, government relations, crisis communications, media relations, marketing, advertising, reputation management and new business development. A former staff writer for The Washington Times and speechwriter for the George H.W. Bush for President campaign, Smith served on the executive team of Affinion Group, a global direct marketer, and has held senior public relations, marketing and advertising positions with HCA and Gaylord Entertainment Co. He began his agency career at Atkinson Public Relations, where he helped create the Nashville Health Care Council. Smith is a past president of the Public Relations Society of America | Nashville, and earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing and English from Baylor University.
